Home to 1,530 farms that utilize over a quarter million acres of farmland, our midwestern growing conditions make us a solid producer of corn and soybeans, plus dairy cattle and swine. In addition to traditional farms, Hillsdale County is also home to a select number of nurseries, orchards, and greenhouses. Our agribusiness businesses generate nearly $161 million for our state’s economy.
